Lampion ze słoika po ogórkach/Lantern made from a jar with cucumbers

The waether in my city is so much better. There's a lot more sun and we have almost 10 degrees Celsius durring the day. Yeah! Spring is so close...and I can announce the opening of season for spending time in the garden/parcel. That is why  I wanna introduce You something what will make Your time in the garden/parcel more pleasent. This is my first lantern which I have made from a jar with cucumbers. / Pogoda w moim mieście jest o wiele lepsza. Jest sporo więcej słońca i mamy prawie 10 stopni Celsiusza w ciągu dnia. Yeah! Wiosna jest już tak blisko...I mogę ogłosić za otwarty sezon na spędzanie czasu w ogrodzie/działkowanie. Właśnie dlatego pragnę przedstawić Wam coś, co umili Wam czas w ogrodzie/na działce. To mój pierwszy lampion, zrobiony ze słoika po ogórkach.

The first thing I have done was taking off the paper printed matter from the jar. Then I removed the glue from the bottom of printed matter. Then I took wiper and soaked into denatured alcohol. I wiped the whole jar. I painted outside of the jar using light blue paint (special for the glass). / Pierwszą rzeczą jaką zrobiłam, było zdjęcie ze słoika papierowej banderoli. Potem pozbyłam się kleju spod spodu banderoli. Następnie wzięłam ścierczkę i zamoczyłam ją w denaturacie. Przetarłam nią cały słoik. Pomalowałam całą zewnętrzną część słoika jasno niebieską farbą (specjalnie do szkła).

After drying up the paint I took three liners: gold, silver, and cooper. From one side of the jar I have made flowers. From the other I painted stars. Then I used colorless paint with gold brocade. I used it only on one sied of jar - the side with stars. Upside I painted silver pattern from one side of the jar and gold pattern from the other one./ Po wyschnięciu niebieskiej farby użyłam trzech konturówek - złotej, srebrnej i miedzianej. Z jednej strony namalowałam nimi kwiatki. Z drugiej strony zrobiłam gwiazdki. Następnie użyłam bezbarwnej farby ze złotym brokatem. Pomalowałam nią tylko jedną stronę słoika - tę z gwiazdami. Na górze z jednej strony namalowałam srebrny wzorek, a złoty z drugiej.

Then I put the jar upside down and painted the bottom of the jar on red color. After drying up I put acrylic varnish on the whole outside of the jar. When it was already dry I put inside a candle. Now I am standing my lantern up on the table in my parcel when it comes to be dark. If  You wanna hang it up in Your garden or parcel  (for example on the tree) You can just  coil the jar using simple lace (in the top of the jar when it used to have a nut). / Następnie postawiłam słoik do góry nogami i pomalowałam jego spód na czerwono. Kiedy już wysechł wstawiłam do środka słoika świecę. Teraz stawiam mój lampion na stole, na swojej działce, kiedy zbliża się zmrok. Jeśli chcecie go powiesić u siebie w ogrodzie lub na działce (np. na drzewie) wystarczy, że owiniecie górną część słoja sznurkiem (w miejscu gdzie wcześniej była zakrętka).
